Developed and implemented plans, programs, policies, and operations of the Police Department. Prepared and managed a department budget in excess of one million dollars. Directed recruitment and selection, supervision, evaluation, and assignments of department personnel. Conducted sensitive investigations into allegations of official misconduct or violations of law by police officers, employees and conducted internal affairs investigations. Prepared and presented periodic reports on department activities to City Manager, Mayor and City Council. Prepared annual strategic plan forecasting long term operational, capital improvement, and personnel needs. Has served as Acting City Manager.

Initially hired as the City Code Enforcement Officer in July 1997. Promoted to a Patrol Officer in August 1998. Temporarily transferred to School Resource Officer in October 1999 to complete a grant position vacated by an Investigator. Permanently transferred to investigations in January 2000 with primary responsibilities of Crime Scene Investigation and Reconstruction, Fraud and complex White Collar Crime investigations. Duties included Investigations of all unattended deaths, rape, child abuse, child sexual abuse, aggravated battery, arson, intimidating witness cases. Successfully planted the McCall Church of God under the authority of the Southern Idaho Churches of God, Inc. Detention Supervisor
1993 to 1997 VALLEY COUNTY JUVENILE DETENTION—MCCALL, ID
Responsible for individual care of adjudicated juveniles placed in the detention facility. Duties included security of facility, intake procedures, caseload management and record keeping. Provided supervision for a consistent staff of twelve and maintained a budget of approximately two hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
